We are looking for detail-oriented candidates who enjoy working in an open environment. We expect candidates to eventually become experts of their own domain, identify problems, offer solutions, and drive their own agenda. You will have access to a wide array of opportunities to learn, fail, and hone your skills across a broad range of skills: systems, networking, grid, DNS, coding, tooling, Chef, ATS, hadoop, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure exceptional quality and performance for services that run the company

  • Securing user data and internal systems by working with Paranoids (our security teams)

  • Writing tools and developing systems and methods to debug and analyze systems.

You Must Have

  • BS degree or equivalent industry experience. Typical candidates have a BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or 5 years of equivalent experience.

  • Candidates must be comfortable coding and be willing to learn or code in a variety of languages. Perl, Python, golang, PHP, and C++. (Not expecting someone to be an expert in all of them. :) )

  • Candidates must understand basic networking principles and can explain how and why packets flow the way they do.

  • Candidates must have a base understanding of RHEL and how to manage and troubleshoot such systems.
